PM Modi quotes” only votes can save Bihar from becoming Bimar’.
In the first phase of the Bihar Elections, only 53% of the votes have been cast out. The Election Commission in its provisional data has shared the stats. A total of 71 assembly segments of the state’s 243 constituencies are voting their first phase. About 2.15 crore voters will decide the fate of more than a thousand candidates exercising their voting rights.
Much of the promises and allegations have been made before the elections. The present state head Nitish Yadav has RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav as his main competitor. Tejashwi Yadav has promised 10 lakh jobs and making such an announcement during the pandemic has attracted many. The next face in the election is Chirag Paswan the son of late Lok Janashakti Party Chief Ram Vilas Paswan, and was against Nitish Kumar and was supported by BJP.
Polling began in the 71 assembly constituencies of Bihar by following all the COVID- 19 guidelines. PM has urged the voters to cast the vote as only this can save the state. He has also urged the people to follow the safety guidelines while exercising their voting rights. The Election Commission has issued guidelines regarding the casting of votes during the pandemic situation. The voters have been asked to wear a mask and then step out. Importantly not large crowds are not supposed to be gathered near the voting booths. However, Bihar elections are the first assembly elections being held under the outbreak of the corona virus. Therefore PM Modi urges the voters to cast vote and elect the best Chief
Minister to take Bihar on the path of development.
