Debutant director Aditya Dhar’s Military Drama Uri the surgical strike starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in lead roles has witnessed a huge third week at box office collection. However, this film box office collection is dropped by 42% from the previous week. This has taken the total of film to 170 crore mark.
This film is the highest grossing small medium film ever which crossed the business of race 3 and Baaghi 2. The film is released on 11th January still going strong and touch the 170 crore mark after three weeks.
According to the latest report, this film raked in a total of 36 crores at the box office. Till now this film has managed to collect 169.99 crores at the box office in three weeks.
The film has a good chance of reaching the 200 crore mark if it trends like a third week in the next week. If the film crosses the 200 marks then this is the first film to do so which released with the cost of under 50 crores.
This film is based on a surgical strike carried by the Indian army on September 29,2016. Written and directed by Aditya Dhar’s. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina, Kirti kulhari in lead roles.
