The final results of UPSC were announced on Friday, Amdavadi girl has made it to the top 50 ranks at All-India level in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2017 exams. After 5th attempt The candidate, Mamta Popat secured her 45th rank in the national exam.
From Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA) 20 candidates crack this exam Mamata popat is also one of them. From the 20 Candidate, three are females and 17 are males.16 of them took the exam in English remaining four select Hindi as the medium.
133 Students from SPIPA had cleared preliminary exams from 133 only 45 qualified for the interview which is held in February month. Only 20 candidates clear this interview. All this candidate allocation is beginning after a month once the state is allocated their training will begin.
Mamta Popat completed his B.Sc in chemistry and done her MBA in marketing. She selected Gujarati literature as the subject for her civil services exams. she started her preparation from 2014 and this was her fifth attempt of UPSC exam. she studies 8 hours per day and during exam time went up to at least 12 hours per day.
When she started her exam preparation her marriage was already done. mamta said that “My husband supports me a lot I don’t remember how the house was taken care of in the past four years. In the previous attempt, I had lost for one or two marks but I kept giving the exam and hoped that one day I would get returns of my hard work.
Mamta said she had missed out several social functions, meeting friends and playing cricket but she missed the most garba during the Navratri. She cleared her GPSC exam and posted as deputy collector in Baroda.
