International Yoga Day 21 June,2019

International Yoga day is Celebrated on 21st June Every year. It is also known as yoga day, world yoga day. Yoga is an Indian ancient tradition. Yoga Originated from India. Lord Shiva is Father of  Ancient yoga and Patanjali is Father of Modern Yoga. Yoga is an art to control your mind, body, and soul.

UN General Assembly Declared 14 October as Yoga Day in 2014. After this Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi Suggest The date 21 June.21 June is the Longest Day of the year so this day has special significance in some part of the world. So 21 June is Declare as the International Yoga Day. First International Yoga Day was celebrated On 21 June 2015.

Origin Of Yoga Day:-

The Idea of International Yoga Day was First Proposed By Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India on 27 September 2014. Narendra Modi Suggest About Yoga day In his Speech at UN General Assembly.Narendra Modi state that Yoga is an invaluable gift from Ancient Indian Tradition. Yoga is not just About the exercise but it is about discovered the oneness with yourself so lets us work together to raise awareness about the yoga and adopt the International Yoga Day.

What is Yoga?

Yoga Means Union, Union comes from one uni that means connecting with the divine self. Yoga is a science to control your mind, body, and soul. Yoga is a very ancient technique started in India. Yoga makes harmony with human consciousness with divine consciousness. Yoga brings mutual harmony in mind, body, and soul.

There are 8 stages of Yoga.8th Stage is the highest Stage of yoga is called as asthangyog. Yoga has 8 limbs Yama, Niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharna, dhyana, samadhi. First, four limbs Yama, Niyama, asana, pranayama are called as Hath Yog. Another Four limbs pratyahara, dharna, dhyana, samadhi are called as Raj Yog.

In modern Lifestyle, yoga plays an important role to stay healthy without medicine. Yoga reduces stress, anxiety from our life. With the help of yoga mind and body works in rhythm so the flow of oxygen is increased in our body due to the increase in oxygen mind and body is in a relaxed state. Yogasan can heal the decease of your body and increase the body and muscles strength.

Yoga Day is Celebrated worldwide. On yoga day Different Events are held across the globe. Yoga Day raise awareness about yoga and how yoga plays an important role in our everyday life. Governmental, non-governmental organization meet together and celebrate yoga day. This year Main event will be held in Ranchi with approximately 50000 participants. 

The theme of International Yoga Day 2019:-

The theme for yoga Day 2019 is “Yoga For Heart”.This Year Main event will be organized in Ranchi.
