Asaram rape case verdict today at Jodhpur jail, Jodhpur turns into fortress due to police bandobast. Security Beefed up at all entry points of the city like a bus station, railway station,dharmshalas, hostels. The union home ministry give advise to tighten up security in Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat to prevent any kind of untoward incident.
Asaram faces up to 10-year jail if the court has proven guilty in an alleged rape case. The judgment is premises at Jodhpur jail due to security reason judge Madhu Sudan Sharma gives judgment in jail. Final Arguments of this case has been completed on 7th April.
Full Police Bandobast has been arranged with the help of special task force deputed at all entry points to prevent the sadhaks from entering the city to avoid any kind of violence. Police inspector Gajendra Singh said we are on alert along with our police staff. Police had asked around 500 sadhaks to leave jodhpur’s Pal ashram.

The victim who studying at his ashram at Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh had alleged that the godman had called her to his ashram and raped her on the night of 15 August 2013.
Asaram was arrested from Indore and brought to Jodhpur on September 1, 2013. He is under judicial custody since September 2, 2013.
