Tomorrow 100 years of Jallianwala Massacre competed.13 April 1919 to 13 April 2019 100 years of this horrible day. Let us see what was happened on that Day.
It was a day Baisakhi  13 April 1919. At That time Punjab was undivided and struggling to ferment. All Independence leaders are against the British Raj. British government passed the Rowlatt act. According to the Rowlatt Act, British police can arrest any independence leader or people without any notice at any time they can arrest freedom fighter.
On 6th April 1919, Gandhi and other freedom fighter make hartal against this Act. On 10th April 1919, Large scale violence took place and 20 people killed. After that crowd go wild and 5 Europeans were killed. This incident shook the British government and brigadier general Reginald, dyer send to Amritsar in 48 hours and asked to take a tough stand.
Large Number of people Approximately 5000 to 20000 people gathered at Jallianwala Bagh on Baisakhi day 13 April 1919. At that time general dyer rushed at that place with the military. Start Firing without any notice. All exit is guarded so no one can leave without permission.

  General Dyer and his team fire 1650 rounds. More than 2500 people were killed. General Dyer has no regret for this incident he said if I fired and continued to fire till the crowd dispersed. if More troops have been at hand more people were killed. After jallianwala Bagh massacre Dyer was sent out to Britain. He was suspended from the British army. But actually, the British government save him and not take any action against General Dyer.

Udham Singh Take Revenge After 21 year of Jallianwala Bagh

Udham Singh Shoot dead Michael O’Dwyer at a meeting of East Indian association at London on March 13, 1940. After two-day trails justices passed the depth sentence for Udham Singh. He was Hanged on 31st July 1940.
